Sounds like something's shorted inside. I would have any ol' random repair shop take a whack at it.

I recently bought a DSi last Dec.5 from DB but today the battery ran out and when I turned it on it froze in the Warning Health and Safety screen it says touch the screen but nothing happens the only thing I can do is adjust the brightness by holding select + volume.

Any Help?

Thanks in advance.

what do you mean the battery ran out? have you tried turning it on without any game cartridge? are you for any chance using a R4 or any such device?

No R4 all original. On the other hand solved this problem by reading articles from the net.

Procedure:
1. Unplug DS if charging
2. Close the DS.
3. Turn the volume down to 0.
4. Set DS near a fan or aircon basta place na may breeze.
5. Open it after 2 minutes then hold the power button for about 6 to 10 seconds.
6. Dance because problem solved. :-bd

hey guys,

my nintendo DS Lite Turns off whenever i press the B button. please help. thanks

oi eto din ngyayari sa other ds lite ko.. its all ok if i turn it on and leave it alone, but once i start playing any game it turns off all of the sudden, this happens once i start pressing the buttons, i'm not sure if wether its a,b,x or y etc.
so anu kaya talaga ang nangyari sa ganitong problem? is it a major one like changing the motherboard or is it like what Sir xiax said that something must have shorted inside? anyone know?

and yes i am planning to have EYO take a look at this, but if theres an easier (cheaper) way to go mas ok sana yun.. help me out you guys.. thanks!
