Sega has announced that it's developing Rhythm Phantom Thief R: Inheritance of the Emperor Napoleon for the Nintendo 3DS. Combining rhythm action with adventure gaming, players assume control of Phantom Thief R, who travels through Paris with his dog Fondue, stealing treasures from real-life locations like Notre-Dame and The Louvre.
The rhythm action comes into play after you sneak into buildings and attempt to escape, which will involve well-timed button presses and require some tilt controls.
The game, which is about 50% complete, will also sport an anime-ish look that was compared to a cross between Lupin and Professor Layton. Sega is also teaming up with famous artists for the game's music, which will be announced soon.
